Exclusive Membership
This was established in 2013 as a way of rewarding guns for their support for the Shoot. Purchasing shoot days to the value of £2,500 or more before VAT gives you Exclusive Membership with the following benefits.
LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY FOR EXCLUSIVE MEMBERS
It is inevitable that by the way I run the Shoot selling mainly to individual guns, that once the season starts I am often faced with the dilemma of whether or not to field a day where some pegs remain unsold.
In the past I have sometimes cancelled days and asked Members to move to other days, or invited shoot guests and farmers at the last minute to take up a peg, which I may well still continue to do. A day will be run providing a minimum of six pegs have been sold but the target bag may be revised in line with the number of guns fielded.
Exclusive Members will be offered by e-mail, at reasonably short notice a selection of dates where there are unsold pegs. They will receive a list of dates and discounts offered on the original fee. Whether or not you have already booked a gun on one of the days, you can take one or more guns at a reduced rate in order to bring a guest(s). You cannot buy a peg at a reduced rate and pass it to a non Exclusive Member if you are not present on the day. You can of course buy any discounted pegs for yourself and for as many guests as you wish on the day.
PURCHASING DISCOUNTS FOR EXCLUSIVE MEMBERS
During the Summer Exclusive Members will receive a plastic card together with a list of retailers who offer attractive discounts on clothes and shooting accessories. No names or addresses of Members will be given to a third party. I am sure the benefits for Exclusive Members will increase as it becomes more established with the principle remaining to reward Exclusive Members for their support. I would also be very pleased to receive any suggestions as to how benefits to Exclusive Members may be increased and improved for the future.
