We will shoot 3 main drives at Ripley Castle with a morning drinks break taken between the drives (we will need it!) and I would hope the morning at Ripley Castle will produce approximately 50% of the target bag for the day.
On completing the drives at Ripley Castle we travel to Eagle Hall & Ashfold Side. The drive takes approximately 25 minutes. At Eagle Hall & Ashfold Side we should produce the remaining 50% of the bag. We finish the day with a late lunch in the Shoot Box on Hardcastle Moor. We may still be on the Moor as late as 5.30 p.m., so I suggest you plan to have a quiet evening – you will need it. Each gun will receive a brace of dressed game of their choice and our staff offers a gun cleaning service.
No overages will be charged and no refunds given if we do not achieve the target bag.
Roving Syndicate/Corporate McRipley Days: Ripley Castle & Eagle Hall
These days are ideal for a group of Members, a Roving Syndicate or similar wishing to make up a full day exclusive to themselves or for a Company to entertain their clients and friends.
This is the ultimate days driven game shooting, overages may be charged at the cost of the bird for the day after 10% free over the target bag for the day. No refunds will be given if we do not achieve the target bag.
When shooting at Eagle Hall & Ashfold Side you must be prepared for all types of weather at any time of the season. So please come well prepared for the best and worst weather which can sometimes occur on the same day! Always have some insect repellent with you – you will definitely need it on some days.
Any day in our Shoot calendar where guns have not been let can become a Roving Syndicate/Corporate McRipley Day.
Breakfast, lunch and all refreshments are included in the Shoot fee, non shooting guests are most welcome and are requested make a small donation towards our Charity Fund.
